Our Mission

The Salem Community Center is a private not for profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life within our community.

This mission is carried out through the following commitments:

• Encourage a sense of community by facilitating partnerships with local health, service, and educational institutions and organizations.
• Promote the principles of acceptance, understanding, fellowship, and respect for all people within our community.
• Provide recreational activities that support personal wellness.
• Be responsive to our membership by addressing evolving community needs and working to reduce economic barriers within available resources.
• Continue the cycle of giving through service and community support.

Built with support from the McKeown Fund and shaped by local community members and businesses, the Salem Community Center represents what is special about our community. It is a place where families spend time together, individuals build lasting relationships, and everyone has the opportunity to belong.
